With Labor Day upon us and the kids back in school; that means it’s also time for football.

The familar chant of E-A-G-L-E-S will once again be heard all over the South Jersey area as the Eagles and the rest of the NFL get back into action.

The 2009 NFL season officially gets under way Thursday as the Tenessee Titans take on the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Then on Sunday there’s a full roster of games, including the Eagles against the Carolina Panthers.

The Eagles were 1 and 3 in the pre-season.
